Informacije za potrošnike o porabi goriva in emisijah CO2: od 1. septembra 2017 so določena nova vozila že homologirana v skladu z globalno usklajenim preizkusnim postopkom za lahka vozila (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure, WLTP), realnejšim preizkusnim postopkom za merjenje porabe goriva in emisij CO2. Od 1. septembra 2018 bo postopek WLTP v celoti nadomestil nov evropski vozni cikel (NEVC). Trenutno smo zavezani posredovati informacije o vrednostih, izmerjenih v skladu z NEVC. Zaradi realnejših preizkusnih pogojev so vrednosti porabe goriva in emisij CO2 , izmerjene v skladu z WLTP, v številnih primerih višje od vrednosti, ki so izmerjene v skladu z NEVC. Pri novih vozilih, homologiranih v skladu z WLTP, so vrednosti NEVC za izračun DMV izpeljane iz vrednosti WLTP. Dodatne informacije o uradnih podatkih glede porabe goriva in specifičnih emisijah CO2 za nova osebna vozila so na voljo v "Priročniku o varčnosti porabe goriva, emisijah CO2 in emisijah onesnaževal zunanjega zraka novih osebnih avtomobilov", ki je brezplačno na voljo na vseh prodajnih mestih in spletnih straneh posameznih znamk.
